Manchester Million Appeal
The Manchester Million appeal is about raising funds to fight men’s cancers and at the same time raise “awareness” to men to get themselves checked out on a regular basis. The cancers the Manchester Million will be raising funds for are prostate and testis cancer that are exclusive to men and some like bladder and kidney cancer which are more common in men. Collectively they represent one of the commonest forms of malignancy and the devastating effect they have on men and their families. All funds raised from the Manchester Million appeal will go to much needed research into men’s cancer enabling continued research at Christie’s hospital for the coming years.
