The Genito-Urinary Cancer Research Group is located within Experimental Haematology in the Kay Kendall Building in the Manchester University Paterson Institute for Cancer Research www.paterson.man.ac.uk. The Paterson Institute, along with the Christie Hospital, are part of the RAE 5* rated Cancer Studies division of the University of Manchester. The Christie/South Manchester/Hope Cancer Centre has one of the largest prostate cancer practices in the UK, which together handle over 1000 patients annually. The Genito Urinary Cancer Research Group is also part of the newly formed MCRC (Manchester Cancer Research Centre) Academic Department of Surgery Initiative www.mcrc.manchester.ac.uk.
